I simply love your style!! its blocky but still soo clear and its a sketch… I am making no sense, but it doesn’t make much sense in my head anyway. How have you been? I am sorry, I have been rather elusive these days. Was caught up in so many things. The comment space has become our usual conversation area (which I kinda feel weirdly nice about). Anyway, I’ve lost touch of blogging yet again!… I am yet to read your latest ones though… So… 🙂

Hi Samik. I was missing your comments. As usual, you are kindness personified in your appreciation.
Please don’t lose touch of writing. We all love your quirky way of penning your even quirkier thoughts.
Yup, life gets busier every moment. Am trying to make a sketch every week and atleast one post every week.
Get back on blog-track soon!

Hi! Yeah I missed reading your blogs and I have lagged behind. I have a few to read 😀 and I am trying to get back on the blogging track yet again! Hopefully will succeed but I think I won’t promise that I will continue the streak long before I have another down period soon haha… Your effort is working out really nice I guess! My sketching is also lagging behind somewhat but that too will be revived soon! I tried acrylics the other day! It was a disaster again! but I think I know what I need to make them work… so, that’s quite a lesson!… I will read your latest blog posts really soon!… 🙂

Acrylics? Well, atleast you are trying out new things. I haven’t ventured beyond pencil, paper and eraser!
Disasters are good, if they spur you on to re-try.
I read somewhere that a year from starting a blog is where most writers cool down and feel drained of ideas. I sincerely hope you are not feeling fatigued by writer mania.
Being busy is a good reason for not writing, but don’t lose the yearn to write. We enjoy ur writing style, bro!

Oh no no!!! I write! 😀 I’ve been writing since high school. I write every now and then; just don’t post in the blog. 😀 Especially when the idea of “Blogging” brings along it’s unwelcome friend “need to publicize” :D. I am so glad you like my writing style haha… I enjoy the idea of people enjoying my writing, for sure! Brought a smile to my face. And yeah, acrylics, definitely new and finger-painting with them is really fun (and the smell – super haha). Althought sketching has a different elegance, I would have to agree!

You know, I think you hit the nail with the load of ‘publicize the post.’
I glow when it gets appreciated, I feel gloomy when there are hardly any comments for a personal-favorite post. It seems sometimes that the best personal passage gets nil attention.
What’s your most favored, but ignored post on your own blog? Have you thought of kicking it back to life by adding a ‘link’ or ‘reposting’ it after 6 months or so?

Yeah hehe… Exactly, you got it spot on. Although, I think many people hit that nail once in their blogging spree.. I have a few favourites 😛 umm.. there’s “in some parallel universe”, “Butterfly in the subway”, “Crazy dreams” and “Clothespins” the later two has a few unforced comments (unforced in the sense, I didn’t publicize it :D) but yeah… and yes the first ones I posted every now and then on facebook and all 😀 didn’t work very much! 😀

I found a Widget in WordPress that says ‘Top posts by View/Likes’. I added the widget and it automatically displayed my posts having maximum views or likes. It feels good to have those on the sidebar.
They are a good ‘window display’ for new visitors to ur blog. Try it.
Plus, if ur post has an image, you have the option of displaying your post title or displaying the first image from your post. As you know, the visual always attracts the eye before text does.
All the best.
And will look through your fav posts, for sure.

Just adding layers to it. Had a tough time finding a good pic. All my old collection of newspaper and magazine cuttings was lost, so couldn’t find a good resolution one. You have a good one with you?

Vimalji, like Mom said, the trait must come form a higher source, since it also runs in her sister and her nephews-nieces. My grandfather was a go-getter freedom fighter, an innovator and a multi-tasker. My grandma was an ‘iron fist in velvet glove’ lady. Yet, there must have been an artistic gene within them somewhere. I wish there was a way to converse with ancestors higher up the family tree. Would love to know them all personally.

Hello
I tried following your blog, but it seems to be well guarded like Fort Knox. How does one gain entry into it?
