Exactly! I would love to read what British school textbooks say about India’s freedom struggle and its freedom fighters. Any idea?

You might want to read a book titled “Access to History: Britain and India 1845-1947” written by Tim Leadbeater. I have not read this book yet. I understand this is a very popular book in British schools.

I just looked it up on Amazon Kindle with ‘Look inside book’ feature.
As I feared, the short sample mentioned ‘British paternalistic concern after conquest of Indian land – and then goes on to list abolition of Sati and human sacrifice ‘ then followed by ‘Mutiny born of unreasoning suspicion and ignorance.’
Yikes! And they this is used as a textbook!
