Cat on a hot tin roof
Grace under pressure , Bloom under heat
Melt on the altar of tongue, Martyr under the pestle of molars
I make a corn-y movie Great.
Here’s a toast to my lasting pop-ularity!

Yes, the title itself says It all. Popcorns are like clouds – you can visualize images into them and imagine creative shapes. Just like we see Ganesha or other images in potatoes and carrots.

Those corny lines are really inventive, sweety, not to speak of the comic strips. Some one sent me this corporate rhyme today, making another popcorn moment, which I will toss it up to u, assuming u may not have seen it yet:
‘Johny, johny, yes papa
Private job, yes papa,
Enjoying life, no papa,
Lot of work, yes papa,
Monthly salary, low papa,
BP, Sugar, high papa,
Yearly Bonus, joke papa,
Family life, nil papa,
Personal time, dream papa,
Weekly off, ha, ha, haa…’):)…):)

Thank you, Sir. Private jobs are like blood sucking leeches, designed to send employees into a downward spiral of lifestyle diseases. Add to that ambitions, hopping across to newer jobs and cut throat competition and you have the perfect recipe for disaster. I wish work ethics were better programmed.

Thank you! That’s exactly the image I visualized as I watched them hopping on nimble feet in the pressure cooker.

Popcorn always finds its place. Even in full stomachs. It has a magical quality of stoking appetite by mere memory, doesn’t it?

Hi Pragati, it was priced at 195/- for first print. I checked yesterday and realized that Amazon & Flipkart seem to be sold out. The Publisher is now going in for reprint of 2nd edition – in which case the price may increase to 275/-.
So do check on Infibeam, Crossword, Landmarkonline – It may still be on stock there at the original price. Do let me know and I’ll keep you posted about developments on Publisher front too!
