Synopsis:
I knew there was nothing poetic about death.
I knew not that the most horrific battles are fought off the battlefield.
Arjun: The idealist in a non-ideal world; the warrior whose deadliest opponent was his conscience.
History forgot his voice, but misquoted his silence.
My self-esteem originates from me and ends in me.
Why does your honor depend on me? Find your own.
Draupadi: The untamed tigress, the fragrant flame, the unbridled spirit.
Power does not justify sin. Power is not virtue.
Virtue is that which lasts in spite of power.
Krishn : The enigma whose unique ideology churned the battlefield into a quest for Truth.
The Missile …The Trajectory … The Vision.
The trio that makes for the core of The Mahabharata.
This is their saga.
Explore Mahabharata in the voices & through the eyes of Arjun & Draupadi.
Note – Draupadi’s narrative is denoted by *** symbol.
Find ‘other’ famous Arjuns; compare Arjun vis-a-vis Achilles and Alexander; Explore Myths of Mahabharata.
Come, join the exhilarating journey into Arjun’s inner demons, dark desires and forbidden passions.

Arjun is my first love, my childhood hero. How can I get this book in the US?

Hello Tripti. I’m so glad to find Arjun lovers still exist! I was beginning to think the world is given over to worshipping devils, instead.
Amazon.com lists the paperback version. However, to minimize their shipping costs, Amazon will list book as ‘out of stock’ until they see a sizeable demand for it. So you can always click on ‘add to cart’ or ‘add to wishlist’ on your Amazon account.
My brother & friends in USA have done the same thing. So once the demand lists reaches maybe 25 or more, they will start stocking it as ‘available.’
The Kindle version is undergoing spellcheck, so may take a few more days to get uploaded for purchase.
I will definitely keep updates posted here on blog. Also will update on Arjun’s FB page and on Goodreads too.
Thank you for the interest!

Hi Sweety,
Did you know you were my 1,000th follower? I’d love to thank you in some way for you following me. If you contact me via my contact form, I’d be happy to send you a free copy of any of my books. Also, I could feature Arjun on my blog. 🙂

Hello! Loved your cover design.
1000th? Lucky me. I’ll retrace my footsteps to your blog and fill out the contact form.
Arjun would enjoy invading your territory. Do you review books or feature them as ‘just released’?
ANd yes, I would be glad to receive a copy of your book 1 or 2 (since you insisted I don’t need to read 1 to follow events of 2). Given our geographical miles, I guess ebook or pdf is our conveyor belt?

Sounds great 🙂
I’d love to review it (I love Mahabharata), but with some 100 books in my tbr list I can’t make any promises as to when I’ll be able to do so. In the meantime, why not start with an interview? We can do a book feature when your book’s launched. 🙂

Really? I wasn’t sure if Mahabharata has reached beyond Indian audience. How did you come across it?
Sure, I’m game for an interview. Let me know your rules of conduct and your convenient time.
Also, I would love to reciprocate in any way that you think fit. Please let me know if I can help to spread the word about Pearseus.

As a kid, amazingly enough. It really fired up my imagination (and you can probably catch glimpses of that in Pearseus). I was quite the bookworm, always holed up inside the school’s vast library 🙂
A review would be of great help, but if you can think of any other ways, I’m game. Thanks! 🙂

Hi Sonal. Thank you for peering into my virtual space.
If you are on Goodreads, I will initiate a Giveaway once Publisher lists it as available on online websites. Let me know if you are on Goodreads.
I’m hoping you will enjoy the perspective – as much as I relished penning it down.
Mahabharata remains relevant and intense across centuries. Vyas remains my idol literary Genius.

Thank you. Once it is listed online, I will initiate a Giveaway on Goodreads. Are you on Goodreads?
Since you are in NJ, I guess Barnes & Nobles website would be a good idea.

Hi Christa. Pleasantly surprised to know that Indian mythology has its tentacles spread wide and far – and of course that is music to my ears!
I’m hoping for a Jan end- early Feb release. Fingers crossed!

I will definitely keep you updated. There will be posts on the book’s journey, as also Arjun related events and write-ups which could not go into the book.
Thank you for the encouragement – it means a huge lot!

First of all, Hi once again!
Ages since I interacted with you. So glad to reconnect.
Yep, mythology has its timeless charm- and yet it retains its mysteries. Over and over, as many times as we read them, they reveal a newer aspect.
Thank you for the interest in my book. It gives me a warm glow that it generates interest, even among non-Indians.
Hail Ved Vyas – the greatest literary Genius ever.

Is it necessary to be familiar with the Mahabharata before reading Arjun?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Not at all! Emphatically so. That is the beauty of these literary masterpieces.
The setting is never the main crux- it is mere incidental. The core gist & juice of the story lies within its emotions, relations and wisdom …and that is timeless. Always relevant, always relatable.
I am so glad you asked me this, because initially I thought my target audience will be Indians and NRIs. Eventually, however, I realized that the story is far too universal to be restricted to this select audience.

My brother forced me to download an e-reader.
However, I am completely green at the gills about its usage.
So a simple pdf or doc version by email is the best option for (technically challenged) myself.
Thank you so much for considering me! Looking forward to your email.
